Danville Chadbourne, who was born in Bryan, Texas and is an alumnus of the Texas Tech School of Art, has been a practicing professional sculptor since the early 1970s. His work has been exhibited extensively around the state and nation since that time. His sculptures are in over 200 private collections and numerous public collections including in the San Antonio Museum of Art, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and the Martin Museum of Art at Baylor University.
This exhibition is presented by Landmark Arts, Texas Tech School of Art in collaboration with the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts and The Sculpture Network of Texas for the 2010 Texas Sculpture Symposium (November 12-14, 2010). Landmark Arts receives generous funding for exhibition and speaker programs from the Helen Jones Foundation, The Ch Foundation, and Cultural Activities Fees administered through the Texas Tech University College of Visual & Performing Arts.
